Our Piece.

Protect Our Piece turns the familiar plastic-covered couch into a symbol for protecting Black culture. Created with BarkleyOKRP’s The HUB and Chicago fiber artist Chelsea B., the physical couch became a living archive of the people, stories, traditions, and ideas worth preserving.

My role was bringing that physical piece into 3D, creating a digital version of the couch that could extend the project into interactive and digital experiences.
